Santa Claus and Snowmaiden - A very robust and heavy Santa carving being complety round (7 inch diameter). Santa is richly decorated in Christmas red with gold and white trim and frosted fur coat. He carries a large toybag over his shoulder filled with individually carved presents. The Snowmaiden is at his side dressed in blue tones and she holds a white rabbit. Santa has a wonderful flowing beard with beautiful face and eyes. A very unique and dimensional Santa creation. This wooden Santa is hand carved from solid linden. Once carved and sanded the Santa is hand painted and finished in extraordinary detail with numerous coats and signed by the artist.
